It’s the error that happens time and time again. This time in the Daily Telegraph.

A reference to Tel Aviv implying that the coastal city rather than Jerusalem, is the Israeli capital.

And yet again, HonestReporting has prompted a correction. We contacted The Telegraph, which responded by replacing “Tel Aviv” with “Israel.”

While the error has been corrected, this does, however, beg the question as to why it wasn’t deemed appropriate to use “Jerusalem” – Israel’s capital city where diplomatic relations with other states, such as Turkey, take place – instead.
