Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed an alleged Hezbollah missile factory located in Beirut. He then called on Lebanese citizens to protest Hezbollah’s tactic of building arms depots in densely populated areas. Netanyahu also warned of another massive explosion like the one that killed scores of people in Lebanon’s capital in August. With Lebanon teetering on the verge of economic collapse, there are fears that Hezbollah could try to deflect attention away from its internal problems by provoking Israel.
